In the Summertime

1. What is your favorite summer clothing item or outfit?

A very colourful sleeveless cotton top with a deep cleavage, and short pants, or a bikini.

2. Did you or will you take a summer vacation? If yes, where did you go?
   
I went to Ireland with my best friend.  The first three days were freezing cold, and I had to wear five  layers of clothes and get some rubber boots.  But it soon became warmer and we even had beautiful sunny days.  And lots of Guinness, traditional Irish music, delicious seafood, and more golden red beer, and hysterical laughters :)

3. What is your ideal weekend away (e.g. city, beach or wilderness)?

Can I choose beach and wilderness?  I know I can be a pain!  Playing Robinson Crusoe with my personnal Adventurer?

4. What would you pack for a naughty weekend?

Are you still asking?  LOL  Some sexy transparent nighties, sexy lingerie, sex toys, massage oil, camera... 

5. What item(s) do you never unpack, never take out of the luggage from trip to trip?

Condoms!  Tropical medicines, thankfully, apart from one occasion, I was never sick.

Rather late, but I don't really care...

1. What puts you in a creative mood?

Traveling, seeing an exhibition, architecture, seeing a piece of art, watching photography, 

visiting blogs, discussions.

2. What puts you in a silly mood?

My children, sometimes friends, sometimes something I see or hear in the media, being tipsy.

3. What puts you in a contemplative mood?

A book, nature, paintings, a discussion, music.

4. What puts you in a competitive mood?

I'm usually not a competitor, but I like some emulation, it depends if it is worth it, in my opinion of course.

5. If you consider yourself a talkative person, what puts you in a quiet mood? If you consider yourself a quiet person, what puts you in a talkative mood?

I am usually a reserved, quiet person, but I can be very talkative depending on the subject, again, traveling, decoration, art, emotions, projects, feelings, music, but I avoid talking about politics and religion.  I keep my opinions to myself, or I can get very upset. lol!

6. What can a person do that will instantly put you in a sexy mood?

It rather has to do with a person's behavior, if there is sexual tension, if he smiles and has a sparkle in his eyes, if he moves like a cat, smells good, teases me,  if he very subtly courts me, lets me know he's attracted by me, if he touches me and I feel sparkles or even goosebumps.  That is what I would call good chemistry and terribly arousing.

Some good jazz, saxophone.  I really don't have one in mind right now, but I heard Justin Nozuka recently, and I like him.

1.  What time did you go to bed last night and were you alone?

I always go to bed around 1 a.m., sometimes even 2.  I know, bad!  But I got used to it.  And unfortunately, I'm very much alone.

3. What was the last film that really moved/disturbed/thrilled you and why?

Das Leben der Anderen, it is a German movie

, from 2007, 

about a man who was assigned by the East German Ministry of Culture to spy on a couple of artists living in East Berlin and considered as the elite of communist artists, to check if they were not diverted by non-communist ideas.  The spy becomes more and more fascinated by them, and in the end discovers they are only pretending to be real communists, and without them knowing it, saves their lives, well almost... The film received many European awards.  It was a very moving and realistic movie. It gave us an insight of how the system worked at that time.  Beautifully done!

4. What is your favorite way to wake up and what is the first thing you do?

Sleep in, no alarm ringing, but besides of that, my lover spooning me, gently kissing my neck, nibbling at my ear, whispering loving words, his hand on my waist and on my breasts, me feeling something pocking my behind.  This doesn't really happen these days.  I would say to stretch and yawn, listen to some nice music, looking at the sun rays falling on my bed, hearing the birds sing, and smelling the smell of the garden or of breakfast cooking... doesn't happen either, just stretch and yawn and watch the sunlight coming in through the shutters.  Then I go to the bathroom.

5. You’ve been granted an extra hour in the day, what are you going to do?
a. Sleep more
b. Extend a sexual interlude

d. Finally fit in that workout that you usually can’t make time for

Getting to Know You...

1.                  What is your online profile name and what does it mean?

Well in my case, it is pretty obvious!  When I created my blog, I was terribly anxious that my husband, friends or colleagues would discover it.  I could have chosen something more sophisticated, but then I wanted to keep it simple and there you are, very basic, not very imaginative, but it’s me.

   
2.         How did you decide on the title of your blog?

           

That was a tricky one, there were so many interesting and catchy names, yet I was hoping to hide in a little corner of the blogosphere and do my thing without being much noticed, hopefully to get some readers, but mainly just write about my journey, some memories and my passion, travelling. My secret garden somewhere in a hidden forest! Now, about a year and a half later, I’ve gained so much confidence - to the point where I even post pictures partly showing my face - and quite some followers, I’m glad for all of you who read me and leave comments.  Some have become close online friends, some I have met  or will meet in real life, and some just pass by.  Such is life, but it has been extremely rewarding thanks to you all.   And by the way, my lover told me that “Secret Garden” also meant something else, which I did not know, lol!

3.     How much of your online personality transcends into your real life? What's the biggest difference between the two?

It is a little difficult to say, but I think that people, like my husband, who know me well enough, would not be surprised, however colleagues would be shocked I believe.  Now, I still tend to be that discreet, friendly woman, who tries to be elegant, but reserved.  I’m the fire under the ice. 

4.        What have you stumbled across through reading blogs that really made you want to try it out? Have you done it yet? Was it a good, bad or so so experience?

Where in the world have you been that you thought was paradise?

Well, for those of you who have followed my blog since the beginning, you know I love Africa.  To be more precise, I have had the privilege, through my work, to be able to go to several Eastern and Southern African countries and my heart goes to Kenya and South Africa.  Beautiful countries!  Then I also went to Bali, Cambodia and Vietnam.  Bali is a gem, but all of them are amazing.  And soon I will be travelling to Central America, so I’m getting rather excited at the prospect of discovering new cultures and new landscapes.

What is your favorite bumper sticker?

I like "French Tickler" as suggested by Hedone.

If you had a vanity license plate, what would it say?

I don’t know what this is. We don’t have them in Europe.  After a second thought, maybe Naughty Frenchy.

Who is your favorite porn star?

I am not so much into porn, and I prefer to watch amateur porn.  I recently saw Angel Dark, she is gorgeous.

Definitely libido, but also the type of partner I have.  Lately, I find that my brain has a lot to do with what I feel or want.  The relationship is important when you discover what your partner likes, or his preferences, or the way you both want to play.  It is fun to discover what turns you on and which new things you are both ready to try.

A lot of things turn me on:  vision of course is one of the most important senses because I like to watch how a man moves, I look at his face, his eyes, his expressions, his body language.  I also like touch, it can be electrifying. Someone who knows how to touch in a sensual way is a winner. Someone who is clumsy definitely is a turn off.  I also like to touch a lot, I need contact, affection. Someone who has a good body odor and scent  and who expresses his feelings and talks or whispers is a turn on.  Someone can be sexy, but if his odor or scent does not become me, I have problems becoming aroused.  It is all about a good chemistry in the end.

Well, I kind of love novelty, but with comfort and familiarity.  I also like a certain dose of risk.  I like to do it in "dangerous places", I guess I'm a little of an exhibitionist, but not too much.  Yet, when it all ends up in routine, that is a complete downer.  I get terribly bored, as for pain, not so much unless it is done at the right moment.
