Back home. The event went well, even if we felt like working in a fridge because of the air conditioning (Europeans are not used to AC), entering an oven as soon as we were outside the building.
My colleagues and myself once went to a Lebanese/Indonesian restaurant (strange combination!) with live music and belly dancing. The food was excellent, but expensive. The music so loud that you could not talk to your neighbor, the belly dancers...they had nice bodies. I think only one was actually Lebanese. Well, they did their "gymnastics". Having some Northern African blood in my veins, I always appreciate belly dance, a very sensual dance, always envying the dancer for her sexyness, she does not need to have a fantastic body, she has to know how to move it and ooze sensuality and I always envy the way men would look at her. But this time, there was nothing very sexy about it, really, disappointment, disappointment!
Which one do you prefer?

You're description of proper belly dancing is spot on. I love to watch them. I still am hoping to catch a local class.
Welcome back!!

Welcome back! Lebanese/Indonesian restaurant is an interesting combination, indeed... Yes, belly dancing is very sensual and you don't have to have the best body -- just know how to move it... I like photos # 3 and 5.
Ah, belly dancing... It runs through my veins too.
I like the look of the second lassie. But what a shame it was a disappointment. Perhaps it was the odd cultural mix?!
It's lovely to see you back... :)
I am weak for belly dancing. I only recently fell for it when my wife was doing it for a while and I began to appreciate the subtleness and control of the movements.
I'll go with #1 . . . She looks athletic, and I'm always attracted to that . . . Great photos! Ciao
I'm sorry, but none of them look like what I think of when I think of belly dancing. My first wife was into that, so I probably am influenced by that.
I'm with Cheeky Minx... I like the look of #2. Sorry you were disappointed though. I haven't seen belly dancers before, but your description about oozing sensuality is lovely. I need to put this on my to do list.
